PRICEUPDATE

Privacy Policy

Effective 17 October 2026

PriceUpdate is operated by Competition Demolition. This policy explains how we handle personal information submitted through PriceUpdate property enquiry forms.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, mobile number, email address, property address, your response about selling intentions, and information associated with submitting your enquiry, such as submission date, session identifiers and technical information needed to operate and secure the service. Address suggestions are provided using Google Places.

Why we collect it

We use this information to process your property enquiry, send it to the real estate agent featured on the form, enable that agent to contact you about your enquiry, maintain records, prevent abuse and troubleshoot the service. We do not provide an automated property valuation merely because you submit the form.

Who receives your information

Your enquiry is shared with the real estate agent identified on the page and may be handled by their agency. We also use service providers to run the platform, including Cloudflare for hosting and data storage, Google Places for address lookup, Pabbly Connect for transmitting enquiries and Google Sheets for lead records. Those providers may process or store information outside Australia. The featured agent is responsible for its own subsequent handling of your information.

Contact and marketing

Submitting an enquiry requests contact from the featured agent about that enquiry. It does not, by itself, mean you have agreed to unrelated promotional emails or text messages. Any separate direct marketing must comply with applicable law, including consent and unsubscribe requirements where relevant.

Security and retention

We use access controls and reasonable technical safeguards to protect information. No online service is completely risk-free. We retain information while reasonably needed for enquiries, operational records and applicable legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it when no longer required. We will document and apply specific retention periods as the service moves into production.

Access, corrections and complaints

You may request access to or correction of personal information held by PriceUpdate, ask about deletion, or raise a privacy concern by contacting Competition Demolition using the privacy contact details published alongside this policy. We will consider requests and respond in accordance with applicable Australian law. For information already supplied to an agent, you may also need to contact that agent directly.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services and providers change. The current version will be published at this address.

Before public launch: Competition Demolition must add a monitored privacy contact email and its correct legal operator details here, confirm actual retention periods and overseas processing disclosures, and have the policy reviewed for compliance.
